About me

Hi! My name is 1guard. I'm closing in on 20 and I love Team Fortress 2. Love isn't the best word to describe our relationship, because I like to think that there is more. If I could, I would absolutely make a living from TF2. I first played the game in 2013 around the time of the Robotic Boogaloo, but I didn't know much about the game back then, I only played on an orange 5cp server call Syndicate. It was good fun for a group of 12-year-olds. I ended up abandoning that account, because my little brother who was about 7 years old back then, deleted my achievement Sandman. Yes, that actually happened and I started a new Steam account in 2014.

I ended up leaving TF2 and mostly played CS:GO, Minecraft and GTA:SA RP.  I came back for a few weeks around the time of the Love and War update, so I technically experienced it, but I didn't appreciate it as much as I should have...

I came back to TF2 around the time of Scream Fortress X. Me and my friends had a lot of fun. So much fun actually that it launched me right back into the game. I started playing a lot, learning a lot about the game, and I even picked up trading a little. I remember I had my first unusual around this time, which was an Orbiting Planets Black Watch with Sinister Staining spell. Good shit.

We haven't had a major update since I came back, and honestly, the game has so much to offer without one. I don't think we really need one, however, the bot situation should be accessed. I play mostly on the Luxemburg and Stockholm Casual servers and unfortunately, I can't really play my most loved game mode, King of The Hill, because Kong King and Highpass are pretty affected with the short round times and the number of players joining and leaving.

When it comes to TF2 I consider myself a Jack of all Trades. I'm interested in all things TF2 and not just, for example, Competitive, MvM or trading. For I while I was really into Random Acts of TF2, and it is still close to my heart, but I don't visit it every day anymore.

I'm making this blog, because I realized I had been constantly talking about TF2 and I needed a place to express my thoughts, even if they're not interesting, without bothering my friends. I don't mind if no one reads this, I'll keep writing until I have nothing to write about. With that said I do really appreciate if you managed to find this and decide to follow me on Blogger.
